This commission involved forming a relatively deep and intricate shape into 0.6mm copper. We built dedicated tooling for the job that clamped the copper in position and allowed the shape to be recreated accurately in dimension and spacing along the whole length of the frieze. Timber and steel chasers of our own design were used to work the shape into the copper.
